Bachelor Girl, comprising vocalist Tania Doko and keyboardist/producer James Roche, created waves in the local and international music scenes in 1998 with their debut single "Buses And Trains", taken from the double platinum-selling album "Waiting For The Day" which claimed the 1998 ARIA Award for Best Producer. They secured pop icon status in 1999, when "Buses And Trains" won the APRA Award for Song of the Year and became PPCA's Most-Played Song on Australian radio, and continued to turn heads as the debut record spawned a further four smash hit singles including "Treat Me Good" and "Permission To Shine". 2002's follow-up release "Dysfunctional" saw the band remain on an upward trajectory, featuring hits "I'm Just A Girl" and "Drowning Not Waving". "Loved & Lost: The Best of Bachelor Girl" brings together their hit singles, fan favourites and four previously unreleased lost tracks recorded between 2002-03.
