A Good High Without The Comedown

Michael on 29.03.2012

After being somewhat under whelmed by the first single I was apprehensive about MDNA. Having now listened to the album in full (several times) I can happily say that this is Madonna's best album since Ray of Light. MDNA is full of uplifting dance/pop gems like 'I'm addicted' 'Turn up the Radio' and 'Some Girls'. However it's the Tarantino inspired 'Gang Bang' that is the stand out moment on this album and could very well be the best pop song recorded in the last 10 years. While this album is mainly club ready dance tracks the ballad 'Falling Free' is a beautifully sung masterpiece which takes you back to her Ray of Light glory. Madonna is back and as Nicki tells us on the track 'I Don't Give A' - 'There's only one Queen and that's Madonna...'

Sensational

Joe on 30.03.2012

Brilliant. Not an average pop CD - the music delves into the flavours of the 60/70s with a Madonna touch. It is like all her best work from the last 30 years meshed into one disc with a 2012 feel. Highly recommended.
