Jimmy Christmas, front man of New Zealand's legendary garage rock kings, THE D4 has returned with his new rock project LUGER BOA. THE D4 heralded a new focus on rock and lead the scene that spawned bands such as THE DATSUNS and THE MINT CHICKS. With releases in England, Europe, USA and Japan, THE D4 performed at Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds, Pukkelpop, Fuji Rock, Livid, Big Day Out and live TV show appearances in the USA included Letterman, Last Call with Carson Daly, and the Jimmy Kimmel Show. MUTATE OR DIE, featuring the track 1000 HOOKS, picks up where THE D4 left off. Instigated by Christmas, he collaborated with producer/guitarist Barry Palmer, and whilst recording MUTATE OR DIE recruited bass player Karl Kippenberger (Shihad) and drummer Manny Bourakis (The Galvatrons).
