But there's no need to be scared for Silver Ray (much like The Dirty Three and Mogwai) aren't singer-less simply because they can't sing, they be singer-less because there's too much going on in the music to fit words in as well. From banjo to tenor sax to harmonica and cello, this things stacks on the sounds and sounds monumental in it's simplicity (whaaat?). Hell, they don't use words...I'm having the same trouble here describing it. One word then: HYPNOTIC.
