Nick Cave formed the Bad Seeds following the end of his previous band Birthday Party. The Bad Seeds brought together former Birthday Party guitarist Mick Harvey (drums), ex-Magazine bassist Barry Adamson, and Einsturzende Neubauten guitarist Blixa Bargeld. Digitally re-mastered and remixed for 5.1 Surround Sound for the first time since the original release. This deluxe edition contains the re-mastered stereo album, the new surround mix, a specially commissioned short film by UK artists Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard plus the b-sides from the singles, videos and exclusive sleeve notes. The first studio album to be released for 4 years, no more shall we part offered up more of the reflective genius of the beautifully written songs on the boatmans call. No more the rock music of earlier NC&TBS re-leases. Gone is the arrogant swagger of the early albums, replaced in-stead by poignant melancholy, intimate accompaniments and bittersweet sophistication.
