![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Great New Sound From A Great Band Cameron on 10.04.2012 It's been almost seven years since their last outing, and yep, it's been worth the wait! I was privy to a pre-release audio review session, and the band have returned to form, with gusto. The album and probably most of the singles they release, may never find themselves in the top ten (amongst Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, and Katy Perry), but then, that's kind of the point (hence the appropriately selected album title). Yep, Garbage have everything going against them when you think about it; they are getting older, their music isn't so 'commercial', and they don't conform to a conventional image of a pop-rock band. Yet they manage to create some great tracks that become pretty instantly catchy, whilst also showing their maturity and sophistication at making old sounds new, and new sounds old again. |
$19.99 (AUD) On July 12th 2013, Pet Shop Boys return in triumphant form with their new studio album 'Electric', the first to appear on their own label and to be produced with Stuart Price Price (Madonna/Killers/Lady Gaga to name but a few). 'Electric' features nine tracks in total – eight brand new Pet Shop Boys' songs plus a cover of Bruce Springsteen's 'The Last To Die'. Singer/rapper Example, appears as a guest vocalist on the track 'Thursday'. The result is as uncompromising a collection of dance anthems as Pet Shop Boys have ever made. | $18.99 (AUD) | Can You Party - 20th Anniversary Edition $23.99 (AUD) | You Can't Do That On Stage Vol 3 $19.99 (AUD) |
