Having toured the globe to unwavering acclaim, they collaborated with Nick Cave on stage plays, soundtracks and Bad Seeds projects, and had beaten the likes of REM and Nirvana into American Rolling Stone's Top Three albums of 1996. The trio then reconvened in an abandoned theatre and exorcised themselves of ten songs including Sirena, Distant Shore and Black Tide.
