Coinciding with The Church's 30th anniversary and their induction into this year's ARIA Hall Of Fame, Of Skins And Heart has been repackaged into a softpack with insightful liner notes written by Marty Willson-Piper (guitarist) and evocative period images packaged in a deluxe 12 page booklet. The Church's debut album Of Skins and Heart, was released in 1981 when the Sydney-based outfit was just over a year old and freshly signed to EMI. In terms of what was to quickly follow, this was rough and ready stuff that immediately placed The Church amongst other up-and-coming Australian mainstream rockers of the day like Cold Chisel, INXS, Midnight Oil, Icehouse and The Models.
