Originally founded by sadly missed vocalist David Byron and guitarist Mick Box by now Uriah Heep has often been referred as "one of the greatest bands from the '70s".A definition that with no doubt tells one side of the story of this magnificent band that together with the more rewarded Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin have been defined the undisputed inventors of Hard Rock. "Live In Kawasaki, Japan 2010" is the third official bootleg of a series of live albums that will be released over the next months - this is Uriah Heep's homage to the most dedicated fans in the world. Uriah Heep haven't forgotten how to rock, that's for sure. The evidence to this statement is this live CD series presenting their classic Rock songs as fresh as if they wrote the songs just before they hit the stage in Kawasaki on 24th of October 2010. Mick Box and his Heeps take you on a ride through their greatest hits as well as the bands 4th studio album in its entirety, "Demons and Wizards". The journey starts with a great version of 'Wake The Sleeper', followed by 'Stealin' and 'Easy Livin'. Songs like 'Gypsy', 'The Wizard', 'July Morning' and their all-time smash-hit 'Lady In Black' showing once again that those guys don't need any special effects and background singers.
