Written whilst on the road and in New York and recorded with ARIA Award winning producer Wayne Connolly, Only Sparrows may prove to be Josh’s most assured work to date. Choosing to take a new recording course, Josh removed his multi-instrumentalist hat this time around and enlisted a band of talented players who each brought something special to the mix. This allowed Josh totake a step back to really focus on the shape and direction of the songs, providing him the opportunity to take risks in areas he dared not to before. It’s no surprise then that Only Sparrows emanates confidence and maturity.
