Fourth album for the Perth-born, Melbourne-based outfit: Jae Laffer (vocals, piano, guitar), Drew Wootton (guitar), Myles Wootton (drums), Paul Otway (bass, vocals) and Jules Douglas (keyboards, guitar, vocals). Follows the ARIA-winning Cruel Guards (2007). Written on one side of the Atlantic (Salford, England) and recorded on the other (Woodstock, New York) with producer John O'Mahony (Metric, Alberta Cross, Coldplay). Documents Laffer's feelings about transatlantic distance, homesickness and life away from loved ones: "It's a record where I'm questioning what direction I want to head in next.
