The Proclaimers release their sixth studio album ‘Restless Soul’ with producers Mark Wallis and David Ruffy.
Mark Wallis is one of the most experienced and versatile producers around, having recorded classic cuts for The La’s, The Smiths, U2, Talking Heads, Travis, Go-Betweens and Rooster amongst others. Dave Ruffy has teamed up with Mark on productions for the last two years. Recently his beats CD’s have been used by likes of Dr Dre. His previous musical exploits saw him drum/MD with The Ruts, Atzec Camera, Sinead O’Connor, Prefab Sprout and Kirsty McColl.

Since Craig & Charlie Reid first rose to prominence over eighteen years ago, the duo have achieved massive success selling over six million records, having top selling singles across the globe & playing hundreds of live dates to exhilarated audiences world-wide.

The Proclaimers released their last album in 2003, the highly acclaimed ‘Born Innocent’ produced by Edwyn Collins. They started touring that summer on the Isle of Bute finishing ten months later in California. Apart from sell out tours of UK, Ireland, Australia, Canada and USA, highlights included a triumphant main stage appearance at T In The Park, a Sydney Darling Harbour concert as part of the 2003 Rugby World Cup celebrations and the first ever Glasgow’s Hogmanay concert in the city’s George Square
