To celebrate 40 years in the music industry, Rounder held an anniversary concert on October 12th 2009 at Nashville's Grand Ole Opry which was filmed for a PBS television special. Grammy winning Rounder artists Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Bela Fleck and Irma Thomas performed at this momentous celebration along with musical host, Minnie Driver. Steve Martin's show at The Ryman Auditorium the night before was also filmed and select performances from that show will be included on the DVD. In addition, performances from Alison Krauss and Robert Plant's 2008 CMT "Crossroads" will be included, as well as performances from Madeleine Peyroux's 2009 concert in Los Angeles.
