Coinciding with The Church's 30th anniversary and their induction into this year's ARIA Hall Of Fame, Seance has been repackaged into a softpack with insightful liner notes written by Marty Willson-Piper (guitarist) and evocative period images packaged in a deluxe 12 page booklet. The Church started spreading its wings, they delivered album number three in as many years, 1983's Seance. This one wasn't for the pop charts. Dark, stark, sophisticated and, as always, armed and charmed with a glorious etherealness, it's an album that remains timeless in its beauty.
