This album was a spectacular success upon its release in 1989. This former INXS backing vocalist and veteran of QED and several Kiwi bands really hit her stride with this pop offering, her second solo disc. It made it to the Number Two spot on the national charts, selling roughly a quarter-of-a-million copies locally. Produced by INXS's Andrew Farriss, Shiver is also notable for Morris's rendition of Paul Kelly's (Beggar On The) Street Of Love. But this isn't an album of other people's songs. Jenny co-wrote almost all of the tracks here. A gem.
