This collection presents all the performances Sinatra recorded under Tommy Dorsey's leadership, in New York and Los Angeles, between 1940 and 1947. featuring arrangements by the great composer-arranger Sy Oliver. There are also five bonus tracks, including two more selections arranged by Oliver ("Sweet Lorraine" with a group of selected jazz musicians, and "A Little Learnin' Is a Dangerous Thing"), plus additional tunes presenting Sinatra backed by small jazz groups.
