In 1980, before the recording of The Gun Club's debut, The Fire of Love, Jeffrey Lee Pierce did a handful of solo acoustic recordings based on his fascination for Mississippi Delta Blues. For the fi rst time these recordings are released on vinyl. This album contains a 16-page booklet with previously unreleased photography and recollections of Pierce from Henry Rollins, Keith Morris, Mark Lanegan, Kim Salmon, Nick Cave, Billy Zoom, Kid Congo, etc...
