Inspired by its rockumentary namesake, this very first (and hopefully not last) extensive WA music compilation Something in the Water is testament to the rich musical past, present and future of Australia's distant colonial outpost. The Triffids, The Hoodoo Guru's, Little Birdy, the Stems, JBT, The Waifs, the Sleepy Jackson and the Scientists, as well Eskimo Joe, Snowman and the Panics are just part of the homegrown produce included that has made the scene what it is today.
