If for no other reason you buy this record, you must get it for Berlin Chair. It’s truly one of the best songs ever written …. by an Australian or otherwise. But, of course, there are a million other reasons to own Sound As Ever. Another one of them would be Jaimme’s Got A Gal .... and yet another - Trainspottin’. Then there are at least a couple of hundred other reasons in those brilliant melodies and razor sharp images. A record which is absolutely indicative of its time but yet totally ahead of it as well. A real ripper.
