Question: Name the "Greatest Rock n Roll Band that ever walked the earth"? The Beatles?...nah, not likely....The Rolling Stones?.... maybe for a year or so they kicked it...U2?....don't make me laugh!!! We all know that the correct answer is The Replacements - a band so rock n roll that they HAD to break up or they would have all killed each other. Their singer has just released his 4th solo album - easily his best yet - and to prove it he's added an extra disc of offcuts from his latest band Grandpa Boy. Songs cut off half way through, jump out of place and generally sound like a bunch of demos - and better than U2 ever sounded to boot! THIS IS - WITHOUT DOUBT - ALBUM OF THE YEAR (or at least as far as I'm concerned...)
