The Angels were one of Australia's greatest ever live rock bands. Their legendary concert from Narara on Australia Day in 1983 has never been on DVD. This special edition 2 DVD set features the band in full flight performing all their biggest hits, and features 5.1 sound and a newly recorded audio commentary by Doc Neeson. Disc two is Beyond Salvation Live, recorded live on the band's Beyond Salvation Tour in 1990. Live at Narara was Australia's highest selling music video release for many years, and the DVD release is sure to be a hit.

  | Live at Nararra The Angels on 20.06.2011 Bought this DVD at JB recently. DVD 1 Narrara was The Angels at one of their career peaks. Awesome videos and interesting special audio comments. It is worth buying just for this !!! DVD 2 for what ever reason lacks the same punch. The production and editing is really poor . For example during Dogs are Talking solo Bob Spencer breaks his strings yet seems to make no difference to the solo??? Special guest Peter Wells from Rose Tattoo joins them on stage for Bad Boy for Love yet we see no video footage of him on the stage??? Do I need to say more? |
