Time Bomb High School left the country twang of Reigning Sound's first album behind, and headed back into a sound more akin to front man Greg Cartwright's previous 2 garage rock bands, The Oblivians and Compulsive Gamblers. There are still some tender moments here, but the bulk of this record is a rock album that delivers on hooks and punches.
