The title may be of great spiritual significance. But perhaps not. Whatever the case, Died Pretty survive the electronic age by embracing technology with intelligence and integrity, rather than using it as a prop or gimmick. And they do this without surrendering a trace of what makes them distinctly Died Pretty. The opening track, Slide Song, is amongst their finest work, while Paint It Black makes a direct reference to a Rolling Stones live album, Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out! Brilliant.
