Entitled Vision Valley, The Vines third album was produced by Wayne Connolly (known for his work with legendary Australian rockers You Am I).

The trio of frontman Craig Nicholls, guitarist Ryan Griffiths and drummer Hamish Rosser recorded sessions for the album at a variety of locations in Sydney. Songs on the album will run the stylistic gamut from the band's trademark garage pop turmoil ("Don't Listen To The Radio") to hard rock blitz ("Anysound" and "Nothins Comin") as well as head tweaking psychedelic overdrive ("Vision Valley" and "Spaceship").
