Best known for her work as an actor (McLeod's Daughters), Lisa has spent the past year writing and recording her debut album. Influenced by strong storytellers such as Lucinda Williams, k.d lang and Bob Dylan, Chappell wrote and recorded 10 original tracks for her debut album. Producer Rick Price encouraged her to strip back the songs to just her voice and one backing instrument, keeping the music as raw as possible and allowing the stories to shine through.
