For the first time a comprehensive 2CD set of Hall & Oates' first three albums, recorded for Atlantic between 1972 and 1974. Also featured are four bonus tracks from the time. Legendary producer Arif Mardin (Aretha Franklin, Roberta Flack, the Bee Gees, Chaka Khan) took the controls for Whole Oats in 72, and 1973's Abandoned Luncheonette. For War Babies, they recruited eclectic producer extraordinaire Todd Rundgren, (Bat Out Of Hell, XTC, Psychedelic Furs, Patti Smith, Sparks etc). Their next move was to RCA and massive global success but these 3 are where it all started.
