Second album for the New Zealand outfit, following 2008's You & I. Recorded in Auckland in February over one week at drummer Brent Harris' parents' house. On Hollow, the band have dispensed with the angular aggression of their post punk debut and in place have set about redefining their sound. With a penchant for charming melody and heavy laden baritone guitars, Cut Off Your Hands draw from great antipodean pop purveyors, from The Go-Betweens to The Triffids and The Church, with a touch of Flying Nun thrown in for good measure.
