The film, Pearl Jam Twenty, is told in big themes and bold colours with blistering sound, and chronicles the years leading up to the band's formation, the chaos that ensued soon-after being catapulted into superstardom, their step back from the spotlight with the instinct of self-preservation, and the creation of a trusted circle that would surround them-giving way to a work culture that would sustain them. The film celebrates the freedom that allows the band to make music without losing themselves, their fans, or the music lovers they'd always been.

Cant get enough... Eddie's voice is amazing... And the friendship within the group and the bands in Seattle is amazing... |

From the beginning it explores the Seattle music scene and the emergencies of Mother Love Bone. It’s demise with the death of Andrew Wood, the emergence of Eddie Vedder and the bands friendships with Chris Cornell. I particular enjoy hearing some of the non-released demo’s from Temple of the Dog. A documentary you’ll watch again and again. |

$26.99 (AUD) | $12.99 (AUD) | $41.99 (AUD) | A Celebration Of Classic Mgm Film Musicals $28.99 (AUD) Live from the Royal Albert Hall Clive Anderson introduces a Prom celebrating 75 years of classic MGM film musicals. John Wilson and his hand-picked Orchestra celebrate with songs from unforgettable movie classics, including The Wizard of Oz, Meet Me in St Louis, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, High Society, Gigi and Singin' in the Rain. Amazingly, although all the original orchestral parts were lost when the studio destroyed its music library, Wilson has succeeded in reconstructing the scores by painstakingly transcribing each soundtrack by ear. The diverse line-up includes Curtis Stigers and Seth MacFarlane (vocalist and star of Family Guy). |
