Emerging in 1993, when Dr. Dre's G-funk had overtaken the hip-hop world, NY-based Wu-Tang Clan proved to be the most revolutionary rap group of the mid-'90s. The Heart Gently Weeps is the debut track from the new album The 8 Diagrams. The song features an interpretation of The Beatles song While My Guitar Gently Weeps, played by John Frusciante of The Red Hot Chili Peppers on guitar and Dhani Harrison (George Harrison's son) on drums. Erykah Badu (who has a new album coming in Feb 08) also features on the track. The 8 Diagrams features Cappadonna, yet unpublished material by ODB and the longly announced tribute song Life Changes for ODB who passed away in 2004.
