LOTEK HI-FI is a collaboration between WAYNE 'LO TEK' BENNETT, AURELIUS and WAYNE PAUL.Bennett has contributed production on all of ROOTS MANUVA's albums from his debut, 'Brand New Second Hand' through to 2005's 'Awfully Deep'.'Mixed Blessings' is the Lo-Tek's long awaited full-length album. Lo Tek Hi Fi have a mixed cultural heritage of dance hall, ragga, hip hop, dub and reggaethat is displayed in the pulsing beats of 'Mixed Blessings'. The album also features a group of dedicated musicians, like SANDRA MELODY and former group member EARL J. It was produced by Roots Manuva and is released on BIG DADA. Lotek's recent Australian tour saw him bless the mic with a mixture of reggae and hiphop styles, where enlightened Lo Tek fans saw an exclusive preview of 'Mixed Blessings'.
