Maundz is a 24 year old MC Hailing from Melbourne city's Northern suburbs. Starting out as a 16 year old in 2001 on the local battle circuit, he has progressed over the years solidifying himself as a refreshing lyricist with an abundance of talent. 2005 became the year that saw Maundz drop his first two releases (Anti Pop white label 7"(which sold out within weeks of being released) & Whats Happnin 7") through Mass MC's DoubleBeef records, subsequently going on to win Ozhiphop.com's Best up and comer and best 45 release of 2005 awards. Having opened for acts such as The Funkoars, Cross Bred Mongrels, Mantra, Phrase and many others over Melbourne, Tasmania and Adelaide, Maundz has acquired a reputation as an MC that loves to be in the spotlight giving the punters an energetic live show. Having been played on radio stations all over the country, including a feature on a Hilltop Hoods special on Triple J, this hungry MC has grown a strong underground fan base. Although there has been no solo release since 2005, Maundz has shone on a list of other local ep's, mixtapes, albums and last year featured in his first film clip. 2010 will see the release of Maundz's debut LP titled Mr Nobody.
