Beautiful, sensitive songs from the pen of Archie Roach. The stunning title track was co-written by Roach and Not Drowning Waving's David Bridie (who produced this disc) and John Phillips. Songs such as Wild Blue Gums are amongst the highlights, while Walking Into Doors - a song about the physical abuse of women - remains one of Roach's most perceptive works: "You say you're a man, you understand, but you don't/You should lend her a helping hand, but you won't ... So my brother don't hurt her any more/She's got her lore, you've got yours/And she's sick and tired of walking into doors."
