I have 2 other Full HD LCD TV's and this is better than both of them, even though the others cost way more Amazing picture quality, 10 bit panel with IPS is great Only weakness is sound but what LCD tv has great sound today, hardly none Connected to Blu-Ray and HiFi sound system it's one heck of a bargain As good as any TV twice the price, it may not have as many HDMI ports or Internet capability but who cares, for price and quality it's tops Don't judge on quality you see in store, when you get it home and connect HD TV and Blu-Ray the picture is excellent Great buy

I put this panel next to a 42" Panasonic panel worth triple the price at home and couldn't tell the difference in picture quality. The speakers in the Soniq leave a little to be desired, especially in the midrange and bass. It has a coax digital audio out, so you'll be right to connect it to a receiver if need be. Really, what more could you ask for in a budget priced 42". We were seeing only 32" full HD panels at this price and above. The menus are easy to navigate, it works well as a PC monitor via HDMI for gaming (no motion blur and no chopped edges) and it has a built in PVR. What excellent value. One thing to remember, it uses non standard VESA mounting bolts if you want to mount it to the wall. Get some 12mm-16mm M5 bolts, M5 spring washers and M5 washers from bunnings and you'll be ready to roar. The movie player plays most common formats aside from RMVB and MKV. Great value.
