![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Bargain! David on 19.05.2012 After watching a rear projection tv (52") for many years, our new Samsung is a revelation. After using an HD test disc (AVSHD) to set up, the picture is amazing. We didn't want a "smart tv", and two HDMI ports is enough for our PVR and Blu-ray. The Wii uses the composite video. Tuning the stations was very quick and accurate, and the quality is better than the one in our PVR. Playing movies worked fine off the usb stick, though some photos took a second or two to display fully. We did not plan to buy this tv. Our old one stopped working out of the blue, so we had nothing saved to buy a new one. For the price, this is an awesome tv! |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Good TV Steven on 06.07.2012 This TV is a good looking, *huge* and impressive unit. However, there are a couple of downsides - compared to Sony Bravia the colours are a little flat and screen is slightly glossy which can cause glare on bright days. There are only 2 HDMI and one component inputs, and digital audio out only. Try before you buy, but in the end it is still great value. |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Samsung 55" LCD TV Craignjen on 31.01.2013 Extremely clear and defined picture even when watching older DVD's that were made pre 90's and converted to DVD. Free to air in HD has to be seen to be believed and BluRay movies such as Avatar and Star Wars are simply unbelievable. Easy to set up. Samsung have made an extremley high quality TV. Very happy with this purchase! |

After set up I checked the free to air channels and they looked awesome, then looked at my foxtel and it was even better. Put in a bluray and was very impressed. Everyone has personal viewing preferences and this TV lets you set it up with ease. Make sure you have a HDMI reciever if you want to connect more than 2 HDMI devices. |
