  | Some PC connectivity probs Dude on 21.01.2011 1st of all the GPS itself is pretty nice - the functions work as expected. Problem is the connectivity to your pc. The GPS installs as a network adaptor, therfore if you are connected to internet using wifi - your internet will drop out and you wont be able to update your maps - can only be done when your computer is connected via cable to internet router router. Because TomTom have restructed you accessing the hard disk of the device you will not be able to run the TomTom Home app so you wont be able to do any editing of your GPS via computer - map updates is all you have. This is the biggest pain I see, as you are forced to input all of your POIs via the touch screen of the unit :( |
