The JB Hi-Fi website does not generally hold any stock on hand - all ordered items are sourced from suppliers once a customer order is accepted. The estimated delivery date for items ordered depends on where you live. You will need to add the following times to estimate delivery to you:
1-2 days – Victoria
2-3 days – New South Wales / ACT / South Australia / Tasmania
3-4 days – Queensland / Western Australia
4-5 days – Northern Territory
Please allow an additional 1-2 days for regional areas on top of the above times

For international orders allow 2-4 weeks for air mail delivery (on rare occasions, international delivery can take up to 6 weeks).
As soon as your order is dispatched you will be notified by email. Orders delivered within Australia are delivered by Post.
International customers will be responsible for any import duties, taxes or any other import related costs. For orders delivered with Australia, no import
JB Hi-Fi website does not hold any stock - all product is ordered from the supplier on demand. In general, all product on this website is usually available from suppliers within the time indicated with the title details.
From time to time suppliers are not able to supply in the time indicated, and items are placed on backorder. If it appears that your order will not be dispatched on time, you will be informed as soon as possible. You will be offered the opportunity to cancel your order at that time, otherwise you order will be dispatched as soon as the items are available.
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide expected dispatch times for backordered items, though items will be sourced and dispatched as soon as possible. If you have a backordered item and wish to cancel your order, please email us with your order number and cancellation request.
Generally, orders are not dispatched until all items on an order are ready to dispatch. However, if outstanding items in the order are out of stock with our suppliers and have an indefinite delivery date we will split your order so that we can dispatch available items. This will be done at no extra charge. We generally split all orders on a fortnightly basis - both second and last week of the month - but this is subject to change.
Customers can choose to split orders prior to this but additional freight costs will be added to your cart.
To split an order and dispatch available items:
- • Click on 'Check Order' at the top of the page (make sure you are Logged In first)
- • Click on the order you wish to split
- • If there are items available to ship on this order, the option to split this order will display - click on 'Go to split order form'
- • Deselect only those items you do not want to split and dispatch

• Click on the 'Commit Order Split' button to perform the order split
Once your order is split, all outstanding items are split off to a new order and the available items left of the existing order, which then progresses to payment and dispatch.
IMPORTANT: If customers choose to split their orders it will attract additional shipping charges. Once an order is split, this process can not be reversed.
We are happy to accept international orders. All international orders are shipped by Air Post. As soon as your order is dispatched you will be notified by email. Track and trace information is not available with Air Post packages. International shipments take 2-4 weeks for delivery from the date of dispatch, but allow up to six weeks. Customers will be responsible for any import duties, taxes or any other import related costs.
The JB Hi-Fi website will rectify any products delivered damaged or faulty, or errors in supply. Please refer to our returns policy for more information.

Please include a copy of the invoice or packing slip that accompanied your order. The invoice and packing slip also provide an area where you can indicate why you are returning any goods. If you are unable to provide a copy of the invoice or packing slip, include a note containing your name, address, order number, contact phone number, and reason for return.
You will be notified by email when your return is received. We will repair or replace damaged goods when possible; otherwise we will issue a full refund for the value of the damaged item(s). Postage costs will be reimbursed on receipt of goods received in accordance with our Returns Policy, up to a maximum of AU$20.
Orders are placed with our local suppliers for all AUS stock the next business day for all major companies (every few days for some of the smaller labels). Once again, if the item is in stock with our supplier we will have it in our warehouse ready for dispatch within the week - if they have no stock left then we invariably have to wait for them to manufacture more stock which can be a while. If you feel your order is taking longer than it should please feel free to contact us and we will check up with our supplier on your behalf as to the status of your order.
Also be aware that we only ship orders when all items on the order are available to dispatch.
For example, item A is expected to ship in 2 business days, and item B on the same order usually ships in 10 business days. This order will be shipped when both item A and B are ready to ship, and is estimated to be around 10 business days.
Customers can split orders if they choose to, but these will be at additional cost. For example, if item A, above, was available after 2 business days, you could choose to split the order to ship it. Item B would ship separately when it was ready to ship. Additional charges are based on first shipped item/next shipped item rate. Additional charges will be quoted during the split process so you are aware of the charges prior to completing the order split. Click here for more information on splitting orders.
Where there has been a significant delay in supplying outstanding items, we may split orders and dispatch available items at no extra cost.

The delivery dates shown above are an estimate only. We do all we can to ensure delivery within above estimates but factors such as public holidays and peak delivery times may not allow this to be always possible.
