This is a warranty extension plan for selected 'Audio & DVD' products that sell between $5,001 and $10,000, increasing the manufacturer's warranty by 2 years to a maximum of 5 years.
Products include Audio (including Car), Car Alarms, DVD Home Theatres Systems, DVD Players, DVD Recordables, DVD/VCR Inbuilt Combos, Games Consoles (up to 3 years only), Handheld PDAs, Universal Remote Controls (up to 3 years only), Navigation (up to 3 years only), Portable DVD/MP3s (up to 3 years only).
Your JB Hifi Extended Care Plan must be purchased with the correct electronics product and price range at time of purchasing the product.

No lemon guarantee...
No one wants a lemon product. JB Hifi Extended Care will replace it if it fails over and over again.
Repair or replace...
Sometimes it is uneconomical for the product to be repaired. In this case, your product will be replaced.
Fair wear and tear...
Sometimes products will get a fault through general wear and tear. Don't worry, JB Hifi Extended Care covers you.
No excess charges*...
Your product protection has no hidden extra costs or no excess charges for any repairs.
Parts, labour and service*...
You have no out-of-pocket expenses for the life of your JB Hifi Extended Care Plan.
If your product fails, simply call our call centre for our experienced staff to help with your repair claim.

If you have a claim before the manufacturer's warranty has expired, you will need to contact the manufacturer directly. Contact details are generally available via manufacturer websites.
If you have a claim after the manufacturer's warranty has expired and you have purchased a JB Hifi Extended Care Plan, please contact the JB Hifi Warranty Helpline on 1800 621 761. You will need to have your purchase receipt/tax invoice handy. If your item was purchased online, you can access and print your invoice via your online account.
Note that a maximum of 5 year cover applies (including manufacturer's warranty period) to any product. JB Hifi Extended Care Plan is only valid for Australia.
