After forming in Melbourne 2010, as a bunch of friends messing around in the studio under the guidance of band leader Jarrad Brown, Eagle and the Worm spent 2011 on the road; performing around Australia and Europe on the back of what became their critically acclaimed debut album "GoodTimes". "Strangelove" is the latest recording from the Melbourne outfit, being recorded mostly live at the Sound Park studios, engineered by Steven Schram, and mixed by Steven Schram and Jarrad Brown. Musically, Strangelove traverses through strange worlds of pop music derived from the near past, taking cues from 70s and 80 Americana, as well as pushing into some newer sounds for Eagle. First single 'Give Me Time' is an evolution of Eagle and the Worm in the studio. Messing with loops, and synths, multiple bass tracks and the likes. Blending styles into a party 8 piece band stage show- mashing pop music, 60's vocal harmonies, songs, jams, 3 piece horn section. The EATW road train has been working and evolving constantly over the last year- Collaborating with the likes of Hypnotic Brass Ensemble (Chicago), Big Freedia (New Orleans), and Milwaukee MC Juiceboxxx, producer Steven Schram.

With an already established back catalogue that continues to stir and inspire not only fans of music, but also accomplished writers of the art, JAE LAFFER now ventures forth on his own, bringing his solo debut release to the world, When The Iron Glows Red. Born from contemplative beginnings, the album is a powerful ode to the common man, the hard worker, the devoted family man who dutifully enlists in the rat race of life, day in day out. Fanning the proverbial flame, both conceptually and methodically, the lead single 'Leave A Light On' sets the tone for the album, taking cue from Lennon solo-era string lines and classic pop hooks. As a chief songwriter and lead vocalist of iconic Perth outfit, THE PANICS, Jae needs not to worry so much about legacy.
